‘DON’T TOUCH MY GRAVIES!’
Hey! Kat here AKA “badass problem-solver for special needs families” just sharing a bit of a Friday giggle which includes some of the funny conversations I have with Parker most days.
If you are new here, Parker is my 12-year-old homeschooled son who has Down syndrome and autism.
He ADORES animals, Newfarm Park visits, going on long walks, swimming pools, play dates, and op shopping.
Conversations with Parker this Month
Parker loves a good chat, and they often end up with me trying to stifle a giggle or two so as not to offend his adorable little soul.
‘DON’T TOUCH MY GRAVIES!’
Parker started yelling, ‘DON’T TOUCH MY GRAVIES!’ at me last week.
I was just trying to brush his hair. I asked him what ‘gravies’ means and he said it’s just his hair’s nickname.
Anyway, today he let me brush his gravies.
“Cyclone make me dead?”
Parker: Cyclone make me dead?
Me: Not unless you go stand under a powerline.
Parker: I not do that.
Me: Then you’re fine.
Parker: Phew. I was worried.
“Thank you kind sir!”
Parker: Excuse me
Me: Yes Parker?
Parker: Can I watch tv now?
Me: Yes of course darling.
Parker: Thank you kind sir.
“F#&k me dead!”
Parker: Mummy, where’s the cyclone be?
Me: One more sleep.
Parker: ONE MORE SLEEP?
Me: Yes.
Parker: Fuck me dead.
Butter wouldn’t melt I swear
“Smell my breff”
Parker: Smell my breff it’s amazing.
Me: Smells regular morning woofy breath
Me: Smells incredible. What did you use?
Parker: Mouth crystals.
Me: That’s salt darling.
Parker: I like mouth crystals they taste good.
